Leonardo DiCaprio appreciation post

It's not a hugely kept secret that I have a great appreciation for the male species in general. As a youngster, my friends could never keep up with my latest crush or new obsession and things haven't changed that much since! I'm a generally outspoken person and if I like what I see, you're sure as hell gonna know about it! I like to tell everyone. Multiple times a day. Also gotta love social media for allowing me to clog up other people's news feeds with endless pictures and videos starring (insert man of the moment here). There's nothing wrong with a good old perv, right?

There is one solid rock, however, amidst my many fleeting fantasies and fascinations. There is one man in particular who I know will never let me down when it comes to pervability. (I may or may not have just made that word up, roll with it.) Yep, when it comes to Leonardo DiCaprio, I fangirl. Hard.

What's not to like? Ever since I first watched Titanic (and at least seven times a day from then on), I was hooked. His dreamy blue eyes made me melt. His gorgeous blonde flowing locks had me drooling over the countless posters of him that were hung in my room. Remember when curtains were in style...? And oh my, that delicious, creamy voice of his. The best thing is, he only improves with age!

Mr Gatsby, old sport, you are a dream.

What a film though. I really felt what he felt, especially when he was meeting Daisy again after all those years. My heart was in my chest. That's acting, folks! Each performance he gives makes me appreciate him even more. How has this guy not won an Oscar yet?

The youngest I've seen him is in The Basketball Diaries which was, again, amazing. Even at that age, he gave an incredibly realistic and emotional portrayal of an addict. I am probably biased though because it also involves Mark Wahlberg and junkies.

He's great in Romeo and Juliet. Outstanding in Titanic. The Beach... just brilliant. Shutter Island, Inception, Django Unchained: the list goes on. I really cannot sing his praises enough! There is actually no real point to this blog post, I'm just expressing my love for an extremely talented and beautiful man. Keep impressing me, Leo!
