FIT FRIDAY

So, this is a new thing we're doing. Everyone loves a bit of alliteration.  Here's the idea, each Friday we do a little bit about what stuff we've done this week to keep us FIT. It's pretty simple. I'm going to use mine as a bit of a tracking/accountability tool. I'll be asking myself the questions below every week, and hopefully my answers will keep getting healthier. Cool kidney beans.

How fit was my week on a scale of 1-10? 1 being a deep fried mars bar, 10 being Ernestine Shepherd the 70 something old body builder (ERNESTINE'S STORY).

This week has been about a 2. Thanks to a rather ingenious fall my ankle was the size of a small child for most of the week.

What exercise have I done?

Exactly none. I was ordered by the doctor to rest for at least a week, and he told me off for driving, so I figured I should listen to him.

What has my eating been like?

Somehow, inactivity makes me MORE hungry. I have been consuming more food than usual. Specifically more pasta than usual. I've been massively craving sugar. Probably because I've quit chocolate. I get some points for going 9 days without chocolate so far, only 91 to go!

How have I felt?

Equally lethargic and restless. Doing nothing bores me, but it also gives me zero energy. Frustration has been a theme this week.

Have I lost any weight?

I haven't weighed myself yet. Ooops.

What would I like to work on next week?

I am going to gradually introduce my ankle to exercise again. Much as I'd love to get right back in it, I think I should take this first week back at the gym semi easy so that my ankle can get used to moving again, and to give the last bit of swelling a chance to go away.
Food wise, I need to cut back on the pasta. I will start having my protein shakes again in the mornings, this normally helps me to feel fuller and less likely to binge on carbs and sugary stuff.

Are you feeling FIT?
